Texas requires front license plates.
Law requires it, but I have never had a front plate on my vehicles. Since 16, 33 now. Have received 2 tickets and countless warnings about it. Both tickets were dropped as it is just a fix it ticket. Both times I taped the plate to the grill, took a picture, showed it to the prosecutor = dismissed. It's one of those stupid laws that I hope go away soon. The night driving speed limit is gone as of Sept 2011.

How hard is it to install the JacFab bracket? I'm not particularly handy with tools, so is it an easy thing to do? Any drilling necessary? Or does it use bolts that are already there? Or what?

By turning the factory frame upside down, it can be positioned over the lower grill. Run two toggle bolts through the plate and top of the frame. Wrap the toggles (?) with electrical tape and position them vertically behind the lower grill bars. Cost was less than $5.00. Looks great and is solid.

Anyone can do it. If you look under your front bumper you"ll see 2 small bolts. Remove them and install with the longer bolts provided (torx I think) Total time about 5 minutes.

Awesome. I hope to be getting a new Camaro soon and really did not want to drill into it (live in CA)

I have the Jac-Fab too. It's great. No drilling and comes off quickly for car shows.
