The side markers aren't round though.., that's just the cover.

Z28

From a GT500 owner, bring it on! I think most of us realize that without the competition, there would be no Camaro or Mustang. Better Camaro, better Mustang, better Mustang, better Camaro. Not sure what direction Chevrolet will go with Camaro's but I expect (could be wrong) that Ford will look at weight next.

Congrats guys

Now if we can get the Chrysler guys to step up!

The side emblems both look different to me. Drivers side looks like CamaroZ28 because the back part is raised. and the passenger side says supercharged in all caps. You can see the E.

You better step up to at least a 2010 GT500 if you even want to compete with an SS let alone a Z/28.

That's what I like about the GT500. That's all you need to see to know what it is. That's what I want for the Z/28.

In any case, it great for us consumers!
I'm pretty sure the automakers don't reply on enthusiast forums for information on their competition. They probably knew about the Z28 before we did.

I would have bet a $1,000,000 that you were going to come back with some type of mod you have and say you win. Remember, anything you do to yours will always be trumped by a 2010 or 2011 doing the same thing. Sad fact of how fast the world moves these days.

That would be awesome if it had Dual Barrel shotgun tips.

And now that it's almost here, I don't find myself as stoked as I used to be.

THANK YOOUUU, haha, i mean im all into the Camaro over the mustang any day but i definatly agree that Chrysler needs to step it up, I love the rivalry cause without better mustangs we wouldnt get better camaros, and vice-versa for you but itd be badass to have a 3-way rivalry again instead of the same ole same ole camaro mustang tango
Especially Mopar i mean come on! Who better to give us a massive beasty torquey motor than Mopar!?! Ford and GM they're muscle has amazing performance in all aspects but Mopar is just balls out raw power, id love to see it ^_^

...drop that new 6.4 Hemi in a lightened challenger

Yeah and his argument is kinda retarted anyways, no offense, but how much did did that GT500 cost? How much did the Camaro cost? Now take that price difference and put it into mods for the Camaro so both cars cost the same, THEN its a fair fight, but no, he's talking about putting MORE money onto his GT500 even after he put probly $8000 more into just buying it alone, thats a cheap shot, and remember anything he does to his you can doto yours, hence why muscle is always better than ricers, they drop a cold air kit in, you drop one in, both cars get a 10 horsepower boost but the muscle car started with more so its always gonna be ahead =)

There is no difference between an 08 and a 11 except tune

Sorry but you need to do your homework. There is a big time difference between the 2008 Gt500 and 2011 Gt500. You have 50 less hp, you don't have an aluminum motor, electric power steering pump, special tires, completely different suspension. Hell, a 2010 Gt500 is light years ahead of yours.

Anyhow that isn't what this thread is about.

Lets get on with talking about the Z/28. Who cares what an 08 Gt500 can do. That's yesterday's news.
