Diablosports tune

Hey guys, i've had my ls3 for about 3 weeks now and i have just over 600 miles on her. I picked up a diablosports predator tuner the other day and now im a bit weary of using it. My question is.. is it safe to use, is it a good tune, and are the performance gains worth it? Also my other question is i just ordered a roto fab cai and im worried about running the car lean.. will the tune from the predator fix that and should i wait to tune till after i get the cai? lol thanks for the help guys, im new to doing mods and i dont want to mess my baby up!

I have an L99 A6 i loaded a predator 91 Octane load in mine 10 days ago, it is worth it, Can't comment on the CIA I will be working with 06MonteSS, a member here, working on a custom tune when my CIA gets here.

Not much help, but my experience.

Mike

Im sure there are plenty of members here that can help you but why dont you just call the mfgr who made the tuner and ask them? Get it straight from the horses mouth.

The Predator is totally safe as is the Rotofab CAI, it will not make your car run lean.

What about Kooks 1 7/8 headers and rotofab CAI. I don't think it would but want to make sure.

No, it will be fine.

Not that you can't get even more power from custom tuning.

I used Diablo's 93 octane tune and just did a predator data log on my ADM street CAI and and everything was where it should be.

I don't recall seeing a definate answer for that. Some say there's a counter in the computer that they can look at to see if it's been flashed. Who knows?

I have the Roto-Fab CAI and the Diablo Tune loaded. Love the power. Mileage went up about 2mpg in consistant commuting. Definitely feel the seat of the pants difference.

Glad your enjoying your Trinity, How do you like the gauges?

Besides it is only temporary, the Maggie is going to be a whole new world.
