V6 chally (or r/t for that matter) is very very poor in the corners and the 3.6 pentastar is ok ish but your still stuck with the 5speed auto only, work at a jeep Chrysler dodge fiat dealer so I get to drive alot of everything

Chally weighs ~3,800 with 304 HP, V6 Vert comes in around ~4,000 with 320 HP. You really couldn't make it more even if you wanted to. Really going to be up to the drivers, whoever leaves first will probably win. Only disadvantage for the Chally might be the 5 speed and I think they come with 235-18s which are somehow worse than the 245 Goodrichs that the Camaro comes with. Looks like you have the 19s though with the Pirellis so you have the tire advantage for sure.
Leave first and you'll probably win. |

Wow, discussion had nothing to do with corners and you may want to check the 11+ models, they do handle well and they offer the Super track Pak and for the R/T and the SuperSport group for the v6 which makes them handle even better. 3.6 pentastar cars have hid mid/low 14s stock which is right there with the pack considering it just has the automatic available. As for the automatic, it may be an older design, but there is really nothing wrong with it. Yes the 8 speed is better, but when it comes to straightline performance, it seems to work extremely well, IE the SRT 392s that run 12.2 with the "old 5 speed"
