As for road noise, there are quite a few ZL1 owners that pull the exhaust fuse or change out the exhaust because they think it too quiet. Having the option to be as quiet as the ZL1 is a plus. |

I will hold you to that! lol. Never seen you post something that was not accurate. That puts it around 10 seconds faster than the ZL1. Friggin impressive, and actually about what I expected for 70-75K Camaro. Rock on Chevy!

lol I could not bring myself to flip him my keys, I had just received delivery. Mike was the first to ride in my Z besides my kids. But I will take the keys in a heart beat!

Also, those tires must be unbelievably squirrelly in such cold and damp conditions. I have to say that, on average, he maintained a high level of commitment during the lap. I agree with your assessment that the entire track was likely damp. Some have said they should hire a hot-shoe local to drive the car. While I'd love to see Patrick Simon (he used to hold the lap record for street cars) drive the car, these people don't have the same dedication to the program that a GM employee has. I don't know how many prototypes they have running around, but they may not be able to afford crashing any at this point -- and hot shoes tend to crash every now and then.

And Mike said he wouldn't mind at all if we did some hot laps taking along several single passengers one at a time... Looks like we'll be out there for a while... |
