Hello from San Diego
Hey guys, I'm new to this site and my 68' Camaro Coupe. I got it 2 weeks ago and enjoying every second of it. it has a 327/powerglide. mild cam, Holley 600, posi rear. anyone in SD know of any car shows or camaro meet ups coming up? I know there is a car show next Saturday on the navy base, im going to go but i dont think I'll enter my car because i cant be there first thing in the morning.

Racelegal tonight at the Q. Races start around 7. We meet at Staples in Mission Valley at 5 then head to the Q around 6. Nice ride!! I have a 68 in pieces in my garage. One day hopefully it will be back on the road.

Welcome to sunny San Diego. There is a car show in Coronado this Sunday look in the auto section tomorrow in the Union Tribune. Well over three hundred nice toys. I was going to put my 55 in the show but I am having electrical problem which I hope to resolve next week. Great looking Camaro.

Every Friday night on Grand Avenue in Escondido is cruising the grand. Only cars Pre-1972 are allowed to park on Grand Ave, from 4 pm to 9 pm.

There's a Cars and Coffee every Saturday 6:30AM at the Outlet Mall in Carlsbad. People say that the end of the month is the best one to go to. We also meet in Oceanside every second Saturday of the month. |

thanks fellas! Ill be cruising down to Coronado tomorrow to check out the cars and hang out a bit, i wont be entering my car bc late registration is $40 bucks!!! I do like your guys gen 5 SS camaros. I was going to buy one back in 2010 but the price tag was a little steep, im going to wait another few years to be able to afford a used one. I wasnt able to romp on it with the salesman in the car to really appreciate the power, I bet the SS's haul butt! would you guys mind if I show up at a meet? I dont have a new one but Id bring my 68 and appreciate the gen 5
