Backfiring

I have a 2010 LS3 cammed camaro that is backfiring in all gears when I roll into the throttle or stomp on it. Also when I come to a stop it sometimes starts to rev up with my foot on the brake and clutch with the highest around 3k rpm. I cleaned the maf and checked plugs and wires. Could it be a bad tune or something else?

Thanks for the help

Please describe all the improvements, besides the cam, that you've made.
Cover the whole intake through exhaust. I.E. headers, CAI, cat delete, etc.
Has it been tuned?

Cam, full exhaust with x pipe, headers and no cats, cai, ported tb, underdrive pulley, dyno tuned about a year ago. I am sure I missed something

I would say carbon on the piston heads and possibly a leaky injector.

Is your backfiring similar to a popping noise? I have a CAI, LT Headers/high flow cats, and catback exhaust. Every time I let the RPMs slow down after accelerating, I hear: grumble, grumble, grumble, pop, pop, grumble, grumble, pop...

That's normal for the V8s. It's just the unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust. It shouldn't happen when accelerating though

You just solved about a year of my curiosity! Thank you!

No not when accelerating, when decelerating. I wasn't sure how to describe it.

If it didn't do it when you first got tuned, it's not the tune. Tunes don't go "bad" after a while. Something else is causing it. Could be the spark plugs or wires.

I have a crackling/ popping noise out the exhaust at around 2200-3200 rpm if the engine temp isn't up to operating level. It seems to be at part throttle accelerating, usually in 3rd and 4th gear. Sometimes it will do it even when the oil temp is up, but I can't put a specific scenario on it. If it does it once warm it won't do it again, kind of like something needed cleared out.
I thought about unburned fuel, but I also worry it's running lean or rich at that spot, sounding like a mis-fire.
I don't have the decel popping though either.

Unless you have an exhaust leak, You can get rid of the most of the popping sound on deceleration by making your DFCO out of range.
