Has anyone sat in the back seat?

Has anyone sat in the back seat... I know that I will never end up sitting in the back of mine but when I saw it the back seats looked very uncomfortable... due to leg room... So I am wondering if anyone has actually sat in the back seat and how comfortable/uncomfortable is it???

With the front seat adjusted for me (5'8"), I sat in the back seat with the front seat back in position. I was fine, other than the hair on the top of my head brushing against the headliner where it meets the top edge of the rear window. Other than that, the seat was comfortable for the 2 minutes I sat there at the auto show.

Same but I don't recall having headroom issues.

Leg room is not the issue. Head room is a bit of an issue. I'm 5'11" and my head was at 45 deg. Also cumbersome getting in and out of.

I was going to try but I could not figure out how to get the seat to move forward. I got the back to flip forward but that was it so since I was not ever going to get back there I gave up and decided to play with the stereo instead.

I am 6'2 and I sat in the backseat, and once I got the seat to move it was fairly easy to get back there and there is plenty of leg room but the head room was alittle tight. But it was not unbearable for the 3-5 minutes I was back there.

On a side note....... if you are putting anybody besides kids in the backseat they should be thankful that they have to opportunity to ride in a Camaro and wont complain.

Exactly. The kid going in the back is thankful to be back there and can't wait.

im 5,10 and i am the most un flexible person in the world and the seat wasnt adjusted so i had no room and my head came close to the top of the roof.

getting out was another story i had to go legs first
(all the people at the Chicago auto show looked at me like i was crazy lol)

Expect people whining about no leg room(only take short trips with teens and adults or their gonna be complaining

Leg room isn't the issue, its the headroom. Anybody over 5'7" is going to have one hell of a stiff neck.

If they don't like the back seat, as far as I'm concerned they can sit in the trunk with the monkey.

Unhappy 2010 Exterior Is Breathtaking- Interior is too cramped

I bought my Camaro in 2001 when my kids were 9 and 6.

8 years later, I can still fit them back there on short rides when the primary family people hauler is not available.
The car still gets second looks and complements all the time-
My teenagers are fighting over who will get Dad's hand-me down.

I'm 5'10" with a tall trunk. I've never used the T-top liners because my hair would touch them.

I fell in lust with the exterior of the new Camaro. I spent many hours deciding colors, options and features before going to the dealer.

From the driver's seat, the cabin in my 2001 feels as large as a full sized sedan. From the driver's seat, the 2010 SS feels "cozy" is a positive way.
I was ready to put in the order and then I thought, why not get in the back seat just in case I need to throw my teenagers back there.
The shock was demoralizing. There was less than three inches between the front seat and the front of the back seat- no room for placing even a leg without a foot. In my '01, there is 6" and that is cramped but tolerable. The 2010 Camaro is a two seater for normal sized adults- the rear seats are a totally impractical use of space. I suspect it would even be impractical for babies and toddlers because there is no place for an adult to place a foot in the back seat to buckle in the toddler.

I thought the Vette was supposed to be the 2-seater in the line-up?

I'm so disappointed.

Just curious- has anyone found a use for the back seat?
