GPI SS line of cam shafts for Gen 5 LT engines

I have been getting alot of intrerest in our GPI line of VVT cams and GPI cylinder heads. So here is a break down of our SS1LT-SS4LT cam shafts.

SS1LT- The SS1LT was designed with the daily driver in mind. It hits hard for a smaller cam shaft but also makes great power. The ss1lt is stock converter friendly. It has a nice idle and a smooth ride. Works great with our cylinder heads. We did a bolt on car with the ss1 heads, car put down 500 to the tires.

SS2LT- The SS2LT cam packs more of a punch then the ss1 but still has some decent street manners on the stock converter. It will have a alittle push on the stock converter. This cam is great for the guy that hits the track once a month or so. I has a nice sharp chopping sound to it and is a great choice for the guy that doesnt want to invest in a converter right now but he can always add on later down the road.

SS3LT- The SS3LT is for the street strip guy that is chasing a number at the track. With this cam you WILL need a aftermarket converter. This was the most popular cam when it comes to our LS cam cams and i expect the same out of this one. I would suggest a 3600 at up on a stall converter. This is one means ass street strip cam shaft! Will be a great compliment to our GPI cylinder heads.

SS4LT- This is the baddest cam shaft we offer. This cam shaft has set many many recoreds on the LS side of the spectram. I will personally be running this cam shaft in my car this year. IT will require a 3800 and up stall converter. Fly cutting the top of the pistons IS NOT REQUIRED on the ss4 this time on unmilled heads. This is for the more serious racer and will be a full tilt boogie cam shaft.

We also can custom cut a cam shaft to meet your specific build

Now.. that being said, there is currently not a aftermarket converter out right now for the new 8 speed trans. I am currently testing a converter for a company and so far so good on that. last i heard he was looking around april to start production. When that is avalible you guys will the first to know and we will all be in business when it comes to the super aggressive stuff so definatly be on the look out of that.

We look forward to building some badass Gen 6 cars and dominate just like we did with the gen 5 car

Do you have a smaller volume ported head for the two smaller cams?
I looked at your site and the smaller cam can opt for .600 valve springs are the two smaller cams below .600 lift. Last question do I need to change the AFM lifters?

The SS1 is a .638 lift , around 224 duration. Not sure of anything on the SS2...

Is the SS1LT a long term cam? I know you don't want to discuss specs but, with respect to the GM LT1 hot cam that came out not too long ago, the lift, ramp rate, etc. is fairly mild and is likely a cam that you don't have to change springs on every 25k miles or so.

Is this specced similarly? If so, that would make this attractive to buyers like myself who are not out to chase the big numbers but want to still enjoy having an aftermarket camshaft.

All our our cams lt and ls, will last a very long time with proper maintenance. The ss1lt will. Or shatter any record but will be a fantastic car shaft for the daily type of guy but it will also make really good numbers on the dyno. Cause let's face it that's what we all want when we invest thousands of dollars in our rides. Email me and I can discuss specs a little bit in detail with you

How would the ss1 or ss2 perform in a FI car? Or would you prefer to do a custom cam for a forced induction application?
