Torque Specs???

So after flipping through my manual and looking on here and google I could not find a torque spec reference sheet. Looking for something that lists oil drain bolt, wheels etc. Thank you in advance and sorry if I missed it here!

Just do what the local tire replacement shops do.

Find the biggest, strongest guy in the shop. Then give him a 6-foot-long breaker bar, and tell him to tighten the lug nuts as much as possible.

If you don't have a guy like that around, just weld the lug nuts on the bolts. It'll take around the same effort to remove.

My boss just gave me a weird look as i broke out in laughter at my desk over that one. Hahaha.

I'll ask the shop and see if i can get back to you on that one.

Service adviser here at my dealership says 100ft/lbs. for the wheels, the oil drain bolt is just snug, no real specs for it.

Lug nuts are 140 lb/ft (pg 352). Not sure about oil drain plug.

Per the owner's manual, yes. I also verified that mine were torqued to that from the factory.

Yep, the wheel lugs get 140 pounds, fun fun fun...

An aside: if you haven't checked the torque on your factory wheels lug nuts, do it. I had 650 miles on my factory wheels when I jacked up the car to install my MRR wheels. The factory lug nuts came of VERY easily on 2 of the 4 wheels. If I had to guess, I'd estimate that they had 60-65 pounds of torque on them.

Yes. I know it is high, but 140 is the correct spec.. I also confirmed it prior to buying a torque limiter stick for my air tool.

More information will come out once Helm releases the service manual. It's been pushed back numerous times, and was supposed to be released recently...

It's 140 ft-lbs on the 5th gen too, FWIW. Any semi well-seasoned worker at an auto shop won't bat an eye at this because if you've worked on modern cars, you know that many newer vehicles have a lug nut torque spec that was once reserved only for trucks. I definitely think it's overkill, but I think that's the desired outcome -- to ensure there's no way they come loose on their own. I had one shop torque mine to only about 90 and they eventually got a little looser until I tightened them myself correctly. That shop was a Pep Boys (yeah, don't ask. I was in a pinch and had a pre-balanced pre-mounted tire/wheel that just needed to go on, figured it was simple enough.)
