V6 engine weight?

Strange question, I know. Working on the up-front stuff on a future project, and I really like the sound of the v6 in the Camaro. Does anybody know how much they weigh? I'm hoping it's a nice weight break from the LS3.
Googled for a bit, kept giving me HP and curb weight...
Cheers

A quick google search comes up with:

Engine Mass (kg/lbs) engine plant as shipped weight
172 / 380 (estimate) automatic CTS and STS
194 / 428 (estimate) manual CTS and STS
164 / 361 (estimate) Acadia, Enclave, Traverse

http://gmpowertrain.ca/Product/3.6%2...ro%20Specs.pdf

Not sure how accurate it is?

According to another post earlier today from a different member here (GretchenGotGrowl) the LFX V6 weighs 345lbs, and the LS3 in the C6 Vette weighs about 460.

I can't confirm that, but the guy is pretty smart lol.

Maybe just figure 360 like in RacnJsn's post above and say its about 100 lbs lighter than the LS3

Curious what your project might be?

Thanks guys.
It is for a Seven build. I love some of the 4cyl's for their power to weight, but the asymmetry bugs me. v8 seems like overkill for build #1, and this v6 sounds good. With that kind of weight, the car could be under 1600lbs, and 300hp!!!

Yep, should be a riot. Worked on a few. One has an old iron 302 making maybe 300hp, and it's so fun. I couldn't stop smiling after driving it. Been on my brain ever since.
