Have you checked your tire pressure? That could be a cause, too.

MPG
I took a long trip over Thanksgiving and averaged 23.8 MPG on the HWY. With split city/hwy driving, I averaged about 20 MPG. I drove pretty hard in the city and cruised on the highway.

we get about 16-18 around town and 22-25 on interstate, but it is hard to be consistant when we're always passing slower traffic between 65 and 90mph.

I've noticed that my camaro is running quite rich (major carbon on exhaust tips). My mileage is low also. I just got a trinity programmer, I'll let you know if this helps.

I was averaging 13.4 city on an A6. Turned the AFM off (pounded the shit out of the car) Got 13.9 on the first tank with AFM off and a Predator canned map. I may be running pretty fat also- a lot of carbon build up on tips-
Disclaimer: I Don't G.a.S about mileage. I just want to go fast! Mike

As i stated earlier could care less about the price of gas, i was just concerned about getting that low of MPG's without being to rough on the car... Thanks for the rest of the feedback guys this eaises my concerns. |

run a full tank of gas keeping the car between 1500-2000 rpms. that will tell you what you CAN get if you drive like granny.
