Ground effects kit materials and price
Hello Guys,
I spend endless time this past few days and nights searching for the best ground effects kit for my Baby Cake. Its no joke to spend big bucks on this mods so I want the best for my money. What materials/ or brand names do you recommend? Can you please show pictures of your Camaro with GFX. I just quoted by the dealership for $3000 for materials and installation which is overpriced for me. I was quoted by a local auto shop for $300 for the installation If I opt to buy the materials online. Do you think this is a good deal? How much it cost you with your GFX materials plus installation? Please help your Buddy! Thanks |

GM's BodyKit. Front valence, side skirts and Rear Valence.
The bumper ports are aftermarket from ACS Composite. Ordered the body kit when i ordered my car, $2300 option, that included installation. Paint was an extra $400

The GM Body kit is nice, but pricy. I wasn't fond of the Rear on the GM Kit. I got a 3D Carbon kit online for just under $700. I believe painting (Matte Black with a Clearcoat) and install was somewhere around $1000. Fit isn't quite as good as the factory kit, but isn't bad.

The GM body kit is beautiful, IMO! You should check with MaureenM@RodgersChevrolet and see if she can hook you up.

Yes check around, you can find the GM kit cheaper. It does look awesome. One of our club members has it and it looks fantastic on his car.

I 2nd the Razzi kit, I think it's the best looking kit on the market so far. I want to buy the kit but I just can't get past gluing it to my car. If it was a total bolt on kit I would have already bought it.

I personally think that the first thing you should do if your going with the GM gfx (best looking imo) is get a v8 front bumper. I think the front splitter on the v6 looks weird.
