WHERE ARE THE HOOD PINS??

Do we need to take a vote on this? I sure wish they are on the final production release! GM.... please do it!

As they wouldn't do anything functional are you suggesting GM simply add mass for the looks of hood pins?

You can always add them later to personalize yours a bit, but I don't see GM adding the cost and mass of a set of hood pins when they would offer zero performance benefit.

OK maybe you're right... it was a leftover look from the 60's that really meant something (for the fiberglass hoods that had no hinges)... so maybe on the z28 the weight savings or hinge delete would require the pins.

OK OK OK,,... I give. Not on the ZL1.

Hopefully not on the Z28, either. Less is definitely more, especially if they can keep the hood lightweight and still have it hinge AND latch from underneath.

Hood pins are ridiculous considering the only cars I ever see them on are civics, accords, preludes and wrxs........
Fail.

they were used LONG before most of those cars were even drawn on paper for the first time.... but they are sort of a relic of the past that isnt' really needed anymore. they do look good on some of the old muscle cars but i don't like them on new cars....
