I agree.
I don't care how fast the auto is, I want 3 pedals!

And I certainly don't plan to pay extra for less fun.

I would agree for the most part.

BUT, the TR6060 isn't exactly the best manual out there. It's a ton better then the POS MT82 Ford puts in the Mustang at least. But many 5th gen guys had issues with WOT 1-2 shifts grinding, and synchro nibbling on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. Not sure if adding the rev match feature made them update anything internally or not, but I will have to make sure these issues were fixed before I check that box when I order mine.

PLUS, the 8 speed auto seems to be very good, has better ratios and it shifts very fast...

When are the 2016 Camaros going to be on dealer lots so I can test drive?

I've had no issues with my 1LE and the number of complaints are a small percentage. Like all things, its only the people with issues that speak up. You don't have threads started saying "mine works as advertised".

And again, I don't care if the auto is better in every aspect. It will not be as much fun to me. And in a car purchased solely for fun, this is the most important metric.

Yup, and for those who haven't mastered the art, the active rev match should make it more enjoyable.

It's not Chevy's fault that even a performance pack Mustang GT is significantly behind a "base" SS. What happens is Chevy does do a 1Le? At this point that's not only rubbing it in, it's almost unsportsman like conduct. It's like when your football team is up by 35 points and they keep throwing the ball for TD's.

Exactly, the mustang guys only argument right now is that there is a $4000 price gap between the base gt and 1ss. What they're not realizing is that the 1ss is going to spank the gt pp too and there is only around a $1500 price gap between those 2

I believe I read the convertible C7 weights 55lbs more than the coupe. Since the top would have to be a bit bigger than the one on the C7, and some more bracing underneath, maybe 75 lbs more than the 3685 list... 3760-ish?

How about none of the above and I would rather not be bored while driving. Autos may be faster in a straight line but the experience is dull in my opinion.
