Nice car all around though. If I were rich, I'd own all 3. =/

I think the challenger had the best sound with the most badass burnout. It almost makes me rethink buying my camaro. I would love to have one of each.

I agree with how the chally sounds. Its amazing. But they need to lower the price, and get rid of that 300/chargerish interior before Id consider. The inside reminds me of my dads 300 =/

I also think those are weak points to put the camaro in 3rd place though. I love the shifter (its not that big!) The steering wheel?...
The windows kinda do suck though, but I like the enclosed/private feel they give. The only time I complained about my windows was when I was looking at houses with my girlfried. Her: Babe! Check this one out! Me: Can't see it. Her: Oh, the windows. Me: Yea, the windows. Whatever.

To me the SS has the best burn-out of all three. The Mustang seems to take quite some time to get some smoke kicking(at least 5-6 seconds), while the SS and the Challenger gets smoke flowing fairly quickly(1-2 seconds). Does this have anything to do with they're rear wheel power output?
I was honestly wondering about this. The 5.0 took way too long just to get any kinda of real smoke visible. Quote:
I still wouldn't have put the SS in 3rd,......or better yet 2nd! The new 5.0 is good,....Ford stepped it up, but I'd still give the win to the SS. I think that guy doing that review for Motor Trend was a total idiot, and deliberately bashed the Camaro just to hype up the new 5.0.

Well..the Camaro and Challenger are both a good deal heavier than the Mustang..thus more weight on the wheels, and when they break loose..more material to burn.
That is why you see more smoke, quicker from the Camaro and Challenger. I think alot of people must have written to GM and complained, or at least GM took note of the interior. I'm not passing a verdict either way, but GM is, they're changing it for the 2012 model year. The interior view issues are legitimate criticisms, most reviewers comment on it negatively. |
