So I been seeing all these Starbucks commercials and decided ima try one of their frappuccino's today

So on my lunch break, I headed to a local Starbucks and got a "Grande Caramel frappuccino" ... and it was sooo good !!!!!

So the main point of this thread is:

I had 5 of them today .......

I swear I think they put cocaine in it cause I'm craving one rite now, and I suppose to be on a diet

I was warned I mite get addicted but .... wow

I used to have that problem with the same exact drink but after I went to Hawaii (about a year ago) and didn't have one for about 3 weeks I didn't have the desire for one I used to, and still don't.

I also love the starbucks caramel frap but recently tried the mcdonalds caramel frappé, OMG so much better and about $1 cheaper, please try one, see if you agree. I'm hooked!

I admire the people that work at Starbucks. You have to have some giant balls to charge somebody that kind of money for a drink and still put a tip jar on the counter. I wouldn't want to get in a bar fight with one of them.

Caramel Frapp is the first drink I ever had at Starbucks and I've always ordered that whenever I go there...which isn't often. But when the craving comes for a frapp, I gotta have it!!!

I tried Starbucks once. It's not a good value for what you're getting, IMO. It's 90% hype and 10% product. It's like somehow they have to justify a $5 cup of coffee. I guess it makes financial sense only if you're a pinhead. That's almost as much as a 6 pack of beer. Forget that. It's not bad, just not worth the money to me. Probably because I'm not a coffee addict. I go through so much coffee in a week it's easier to save by making it at the house and buy gas with the difference in price of a foo-foo coffee instead.

It's obviously a psyche thing, thinking if you spend more for it, it's somehow better. Which may be to a point, but not that much better for the price. That's why they bought out Seattle's Best brand a few years ago, because the competition was closing in. Now, they're trying to push Seattle's Best brand anywhere they can, because they knew they needed a Wal-Mart version to compete, while leaving Starbucks brand as the "premium" brand. Without the lesser brand bouying them up in this tough economic climate, I think there'd have been more Starbucks closing last year than there was.

I got a free sample and then I went to go buy another one the same day. I gave up though once I realized it had over 70 grams of sugar in it:( I'm on the verge of becoming a diabetic with some underlying health conditions I was diagnosed with last summer. The last 2 years I have gave up most of the sugar in my diet helped me drop 30 pounds and I have been cavity free for 2 years already.
