I honestly couldn't be happier that this was posted. I stumbled across someone's car on here and loved the Z hood, shortly after I saw Eric had passed some time ago.

Now I know the next part on the must have list!

Yes sir! Hopefully the company that is supposed to be making them again does as good of a job as Eric did. If they do, than it will be a great hood to buy. Also looks like the prices are pretty much still what they were when Eric made them. And yea, that Z hood is really nice, but I wanted the cowl hood. Tooke me a while to decide though. lol.

I hope so. I'm still back and forth but leaning towards the cowl hood. The ram air looks bomb but my friends all have Mopar, I can't be fitting in too much

lol, I hear ya there bro!! You DON'T want to look like a MOPAR!! Yea all my Camaro brothers and sisters here, and every other one as well, are still running stock hoods and I wanted to "be different" than any other Camaro around here, so I got mine. And one of the reasons I didn't get the Z Force hood is because of the sudden/drastic direction change/bend in the air tunnel from the scoop to the CAI area. The cowl hood I have, right under the back side of the rear of the cowl area there are 2 very large "screened" openings where the air around the bottom of the lower windshield is "sucked" into the tunnel that runs the entire length of the hood and nicely curves over and is open to the sealed CAI area. First pic is the underside of the cowl/copo hood, and the second is how the tunnel of the ZForce is. Notice the difference in the air flow.

Wow bro, that looks pretty interesting!! Is that the "copo" hood he made? or the functional cowl induction hood like I have? He made 2 different cowl hoods for our cars. Looks cool... I had thought about doing something like that, but didn't want to interrupt the airflow in the tunnel to the CAI from the backside of the cowl area vents.

That is original cowl hood. The CAI area wasn't being used because the car was a twin turbo setup.

Is this hood slightly smaller than the anderson composite one? I didnt like how high the cowl looks from the inside.
