CAI applys a Ceramic Metalic Thermal barrier coating inside and out of the entire intake system so heat soak is a non issue.

Keeping heat out of the intake stream is part of how they achieve max performance, on the dyno, street and track.

It is just torque limited by RPM. I did the same as Iam Broke and set everything to the maximum. If you want to limit torque... lift your foot.

can u give me an example how u maximized the numbers, the tuning gets me confused as some scales we make the numbers smaller to get more power and some the opposite.

Just go in and set everything to 6042. I'm sure it's a noticeable change, but I did mine at the same time I was tuning the cam, so it was a long process and I kinda forgot what it was like before.

Yes. The numbers in the cells are where TQ management will kick in. If you set them all to 6042 it can never get there. That is a pretty standard practice. Set the cell to something out of range to disable some functionality.

I didn't see any information about the track conditions (DA). I know that running a car down the strip in Texas at this time of year can be a heart breaker.
Especially at some of the tracks that have a little bit of elevation to go with the heat.


Well I answered my own question. Conditions were not all that bad that day, but the DA was +2194 ft. based on DragTimes.com

His corrected time was 12.7 @ 112.78 mph. So he's a little off the pace for his mods.

IneedAZ - I have read on other forums that setting the tq #'s to max causes issues in some ECM's. Mine is the same as Hemp's with no issues but if you find the throttle closing on you up top before the rev limiter, back it off to 6000 and you will have no issues. You'll never see 6000 ft/lb anyway.

The tables highlighted in green are modified compared to a stock file. The ones that are not open in this pic can be all set to 6000.

I figure since i already changed the TQ management for the tranny i should try the engine. I felt a difference just doing the tranny, so i hope to feel a difference with these as well.
