against what everyone said, i installed K&N CAI

even though everyone but one person told me to not install this CAI, i must say i am extremely pleased with it, i 100% can feel more power, its just not the sound that makes me think theres more power either. with my A6, going 15mph ish, i can spin the tires which i def couldnt before.

got 1200 miles on her ever so close to 1500 thinking i might get a tune after 1500 miles.... still completely indifferent about headers and or exhaust

I have the K&N CAI, and I'm happy with it as well. It may not be entirely as nice as some of the other models, but it was like half the price, and still does the job. Don't feel bad about your decision!

The K&N filter is not quality. Look at it closely up to any light source. See all those specs of light coming through it? Those are called holes. How much filtering does a hole do for you? It acts like a venturi and actually draws the dirt into your motor. How much dirt is good dirt? Really think about it.

I am good with your Amsoil pitch but not so with the K&N. I have owned many different K&N filters over the years and never had I owned one with holes in it. I also never had an engine fail due to one.:(
