*Official* L99 Dyno Thread

Forgot to post numbers after the getting the stage 3 CMS cam, AFR heads, NGK TR6 spark plugs, ls3 conversion, and other supporting mods installed. Tuned by Addiction Motorsports due to Cunningham Motorsports moving to Texas. I made around 490 hp and 451 tq to the wheels on E85. Not sure what I would have made on 91 and humidity was around 47%-49%. Car is much faster and pulls harder.

Here is my 2010 L99 with c/h/i work. The intake killed the Tq but I have juice (and gaers) to make up for that when needed. Not sure how to make it an image instead of attachment

Crazy to see the variances in power! I've seen some with the GPI SS1 cam (their smallest cam) make 455 rwhp...but then some with the SS3 are only making 428. I wonder if the converter is making the numbers look lower than they really are.

Why it’s good to get a baseline on same Dyno. Even then, I made I think 479rwhp on same Dyno before new intake on a bad weather day. Biggest difference is how far right the curve is and lower tq is now at

Next will be LLSR and more cubes but we’re a long ways off from that

Each dyno is going to be different as well. My 428hp number was on a mustang dyno - it is said that they read about 10% lower than a dyno Jet. If that is true I would be at around 470 on a dyno Jet.

The torque converter and gears makes it hard to get the correct horsepower measurement. My car only gain 71ish whp from the tsp stage 3.2 cam and about 50ish tq.

Also I have heard that these big ass tires like I'm running, 315/35/20 take away a little as well because of the size and weight of them.

A Hub dyno would fix that. I want to put my car on a hub dyno soon
