Took the resonator off? Nice.

How do you plan on patching it without creating a bunch of turbulence?

Seriously?

Because I was going to suggest putting a piece of tape on the inside, coating the hole with epoxy or something similar and then painting over it once its dry. Then... remove the tape from the inside.

Yep... seriously... This is good old fashion budget racing!

While I agree, red would be great.. this is more of an experiment to see if it makes any difference! LOL! So this is just quick hack job...

Ok.. cut a two litter bottle... Diet Coke of course! The top part curve fit pretty good! Some good 3M adhesive. Glue the plastic on the tube. Then cover with duct tape to reinforce and make sure you have a good seal!

This is back woods racing at it's finest!

Duct tape ftmfw.

just be careful.... as with the extreme power of duct tape, the air flowing thru the intake could get stuck to the duct tape and not make it into the engine.... lmao

Already thought of that! That's why I used a piece of plastic from a two liter bottle of DIET COKE! The aspartame coats the plastic making it incredibly smooth allowing for better air flow!

Awe, c'mon. If you are going with good ol' backwoods racing technology, you at least have to make it look better than that. Should have used RED duct tape...
