Feels like limp mode

Over the past 2 days my 2012 feels like it's in limp mode (is that the right term?).

Normally I run 45 mph in 4th running 2500 rpm. I had to run it in 3rd on the way home tonight just to keep the rpms up. The only thing I can think of, I'm about 500 miles past 0% oil life. I have no engine light or other warning signs, all gauges read normal.

In short will begin lazy on oil life cause this?

Thanks in advance.

I'm unsure about your limp mode issue but not keeping up with maintenance will certainly have negative long term effects on your car.

WOW! I've never even come close to 0% oil life. My car burns about a quart every 3000 miles, you have to check your oil level with the dipstick. The gauges do not tell you oil level. You need service...
