Lessons Learned
1. Gawkers WILL run you off the road. Be prepared.
2. NEVER clean ANYTHING in your car with a McDonald's napkin. 3. EVERY mustang owner thinks you want to race them. 4. Unfortunately, more MEN will be staring at your car than women. 5. Learn more than your dealer about your car, because EVERYONE will ask EVERY possible question about it. 6. Each gas station stop is an adventure. If you don't like attention, buy a Honda. 7. EVERYONE'S Daddy owned a 60/70 something Camaro. 8. The 3 standard questions will be a variant of: 8a. How fast have you got her up to? 8b. What's the gas mileage? 8c. Do you like it? 9. Learn to drive with one hand on the highway, due to the amount of "thumbs up" you will be giving. 10. Cops are surprisingly cool (for now) 11. ALL kids will call it "Bumblebee" (even if it's BLACK), and want to see it transform. Humor them and remember, strangling children is still a crime. 12. 2 adults is REALLY the maximum amount of humans that can COMFORTABLY fit in the car. The back seat is really for show. 13. The ground clearance is lower than you'd think (esp with ground effects). On country roads, watch for possum carcasses. 14. If you do manage to grind your rims, wait until you're home, alone, in a LOCKED room to cry. You already lost cool points by eating the curb, no reason to destroy the rest of your rep. 15. It's true. It doesn't matter HOW FREGGIN FAR AWAY you park from the store, some IDIOT will be parked next to you when you get back. 16. Skip shift will kick in EVERY time you don't want it to. 17. Just because the speedo SAYS 180, doesn't mean I've gotten it there. Stop asking. 18. You WILL be mistaken for a "new Mustang", or a Challenger, or a Charger. People are stupid, it's still illegal to kill them too though. 19. Random people will touch your car, lucky for them, this isn't Iran and they won't loose their fingers. 20. Pictures will be taken of you all the time. Don't worry, it won't steal your soul. I don't think. Besides, who cares? You're driving a Camaro! Add more if you please, ALL of these are true experiences from just my FIRST WEEK of driving my baby.

Geez, I sure hope I can fit a person or two in the back of my car! Everyone is gonna want ME to drive! (I can't believe you A. ate McD's the first week in your car and B. ate the curb so soon! I hope I don't do that (it's a bad habit of mine). And if i park at the end of the parking lot and someone still parks by me I WILL murder them. That is just plain obnoxiousness right there. I'll be sure to add to the list when I get mine. Sigh.

McDonald's napkins = 30 git sandpaper As far as eating the curb, it was because of #1. I was creeping through the city at a street party and a gawker in the other lane drifted into my lane. It was either (A) Head on collision with a moron, or (B) swerve to avoid getting hit. After I chose (B), I immediately wished I would have taken the head on collision.

But I remember the first time I did it on my 4th GEN, I tried to keep my cool because I had a hot girl in my car, but I couldn't hold it back and I got so mad got out of the car and when I saw the damge I seriously started to cry (well, tears in my eyes)....fifteen years later I'm still with the hot girl and we've been married thirteen years this September.

In an effort to not turn this into a "Chuck Norris" thread, I'll say, "No"

21. I almost forgot. For some reason, my iPod's shuffle has decided that the ONLY song I want to listen to is: LOSER, by Beck. NOT A JOKE.
It's VERY disheartening when my car tells me I'm a loser every time I turn on the radio.
