Thanks - I updated the spreadsheet, I'll wait until the next dyno submissions to update the screenshots. If people follow the link to the spreadsheet in the 1st post they'll see the update.

Monday I'm going in for IPF to tune my LFX.
You can see my mods below.
What are the chances of me hitting 300RWHP?

Honestly? Zero.

There's not a single LFX on this list that's over 300HP that isn't FI or nitrous-equipped.

Not many of the LFX's are tuned. Most are 280ish and gave the same mods as me. I've heard good things about the IPF tune so if I can pick up 20 hp or so I should be there

Most of them in the 200's on that list only have exhaust and intake

Don't go into a tune expecting huge numbers, most likely it will move your torque curve a little and give a few more ponies. It Is more "felt" in the drivers seat. 20 hp is a huge number in the V6 world, more than likely 5-10 hp gain in certain areas.

I understand that. But for example, they have a YouTube video where they tuned and Dyno'd a Cadillac CTS which is the same motor and there was like a 20+ gain.. I know you're not always going to get what you expect and what the product says you'll get but it's on all on the video. With that said, I'm gonna expect decent gains

True, but that's clearly the exception, not the rule.

That said, I'll change my opinion to give him a 5% chance. Hell, there's somebody on there with a tune AND a 100 shot only making 345.

Well, I wish you luck, and hope you do get to 300.

But remember, HP from mods is not linearly additive. If your stock baseline is say (for the sake of argument), a freakish 280, and you have a PTB (5 HP), a CAI with scoop (15 HP), a tune (your hoped-for 20 HP) and HFCs (10 HP), you're not going to end up at 330 HP.

NOTE: Just pulled those figures out of thin air for the sake of the example. Don't flame me because your HFCs make 15HP.

Yeah I gotcha!! I just figured that there will be a possibility, and just was wondering what other people thought!! I know about the whole "adding up HP from each part" and how it doesn't work like that lol what a bummer!

Also, it depends on the dyno. I've seen some stock run as low as like 225, and then others stock run 270's. Tune and 100 shot only making 345 sounds a little low but we will see! Once I get numbers I'll post them

Absolutely true. Your numbers will really be just that: yours. Good for seeing changes to your car, assuming dyno day conditions are similar from run to run. Not necessarily comparable to others' numbers from other dynos under other conditions.

But still fun to see numbers, and I wish you the best of luck on getting the best you can.
