Thats Awesome You installing the headers yourself? As for me, I have on order a ported throttle body and AAC's Sidemarkers. As well as on the waiting list for BNRacing's Trifecta tune sale and working with Showstoppers to rep the first Radiator shroud support...this week is going to go by so slow lol

Is ted going to update your tune as well?

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the install? I need to get mine put in too! Would love to have it done this week.

I'll be missing from Hooters, going to spend the 4day weekend in Orlando.

Yeah, Preston Hood has a body shop in the back, they are the ones who painted my engine cover to follow the 45th theme too.

I believe they have a stencil with the pattern for the 45th stripes and well as a few others. They clear coated both the hood and deck lid after painting. Also, the paint came with a warranty just as good as the factories! The biggest issue we had was the color match. They didn't have a grey that was a dead on match yet. I spent a good hour or so with a grey color block going through each shade compared with the original stripes on the car. Ended up being the 3rd to last that matched.

Nice. Would it be wrong to consider putting the 45th stripes on a non-45th car?

I'd really like to do something cosmetic to the outside and I've really been thinking of stripes. Perhaps standard rally stripes but what color? I was thinking a dark gray so AGM maybe? CFM might work too but it would almost be too dark. I also saw pics once of a black car with cool metallic blue stripes. It was horizontal across the trunk, wrapping forward down the car from back to front in a spear-like way. Just not sure. GFX and rims are each well into the $1k range. Stripes aren't too far off.
