There will be two of us making the trip. Each way to the vehicle is going to be about 14 hours. Will be back Saturday with pictures!
Congrats!

You keeping the convertible? That’ll be a nice collection with the Impala SS.

If that was the case my 8000 pound boat would crush the jack when the boat sits all winter. Most are rated for over a 1000 pounds. The tongue weight should be 10 percent of the load. If you are towing a 3000 pound car the weight on the tongue should be around 300 pounds. You can unload the weight of the load and lift some of the suspension of the tow vehicle without stressing anything.
When I jack my boat trailer off the truck it raises the back of the truck about 4 inches or more. you will be fine.

Done it before. They have two car trailers, make sure you get the wider one. The skinnier one won't work. Don't know how to get the pic to work. My wife's stock height camaro had an issue that the air dam under the front rubbed.

The wife may need to drive down in her Tahoe and meet me. Thought it might be better to ride together on the way home and pull the camaro back.

I've trailed my cars with U haul trailers thousands of miles. I've also had two flat tires with one being on interstate and shredding quickly. I'd recommend you throughly inspect it.

i trailored my camaro from Albuqurque to Virginia, i rented a uhaul trailor and not one person made any comment about it. I don't have a "lowered" camaro but i woulnd't see the issue. They may be over cautious so that there is no insurance claim on damages to your car. i can see that being a reason to tell you no.
