JLT Big Air Intake vs ROTO FAB

Is there anyone out there that have performed a apples to apples comparison on the JLT Big Air Intake vs The Roto FAB Cold Air Intake? If so what is the horsepower difference between the two?

I think there is a thread about this here somewhere. I believe someone did a dyno test and the 5 inch made more HP. I would look for it for you but I am to old and lazy. Maybe someone else will chime in and find it.

Here it is (at least the dyno results of the JLT):

Not a double blind test, so take it for what it's worth.

Thanks so much to both of you for trying to help steer me in the right direction, I have the roto fab and before I purchased the JLT was just wondering if there were some apples to apples comparison.

Any word on that? I asked them about it almost 2 years ago in a thread where they were talking about it being released "in a few months." No response in over a year on that thread, so I gave up and figured they moth-balled it.

They are saying by the end of the month the Big Gulp should be available. If you want to be first on the list hit us up and we'll do a preorder.

Is there a way to clean the rotofab filter or do you need to buy a new one? If needing to buy a new one where can I find just the filter?

If you have the dry version, you just replace it with a new one.

If you have the oiled version, you can buy a cleaning kit from Rotofab (maybe other places?) that includes a cleaning solution and a supply of oil that you'll need to reapply. Reapplying the oil is done with a syringe that's included with the kit. Not hard to do at all.
