Let me know what your travel arrangements are and I'll be more than happy to pick you up at the airport, meet up for dinner or whatever.... and if you fly in a day or two early, you got a place to stay as well, if you fly into the San Antonio or Austin area...

A little update, the car was started, and a little issue was discovered...

The trans case was cracked at one of the coolant line ports...

Corey pulled the trans, welded the case, and will have it back in by Monday Evening... Or about the time I leave Benin Africa in the rear view mirror...

I'll be in the shop Wednesday, after getting home Tuesday evening... As long as no travel problems crop up... Two long flights, Benin to Paris, Paris to Detroit, and then a short flight from Detroit to Austin... Can't wait...

I think its funny that a Texan in Paris, coming from Africa, will be thinking about his American Muscle car which was made in Canada and designed by a Korean.

Yahhhhh, I'm on the beach in Contonou Africa.

Just had lunch, going to browse around for a few minutes then go take a long nap, and be ready to leave the hotel at 8:00 pm for a 10:40 flight to Paris...

Hopefully by the time I land in Detroit from Paris, Corey will be close to having the trans back in the car, and we can start tuning Wednesday or Thursday....

I really hope to be abl to drive it this coming Friday so I can get a feel for her again.... It's been six long months.... but it'll be so worth it...
