License Plate frame light.
My license plate frame from the dealer has a light strip across the top. It has a wire harness coming from the cavity behind the plate area. I have been looking at pice from other people's cars and don't see this same light. Does anyone else have this or is this the dealer's attempt for me to keep his frame on my car?

have you tried taking it off yet or following the wires. looks like it would be a back-up light or maybe it strobes when off to draw attention to the frame to advertise.

Edit: I went back out and gave another look. Ran through different light positions, didn't come on. Then tried the brake and it comes on, red LED's. Makes sense, let people come up behind at a stop light and it comes on to draw attention to the dealer frame and name. Kind of a nice frame maybe just do a little Dremel work and blackout the dealer name.
