Forgot to mention that this was with the V60C1C10 tune which is leaned out already. On a richer tune like V60C1D it might be better.

Just confirmed that knock retard is learned by the ECU and the only way to clear it fully after adjustments is to reset the ECU. I had 4.5 degrees of knock at 1130, I reset the ECU and had 0.0 degrees of knock at 1200, no other changes.
I also am running a 225 cc/min nozzle in front of the supercharger, boost went to 12 psi on my gauges, no knock. Temp was 77℉. |

So weirdest thing happened today on my way back from work, zero knock retard anywhere. Usually I get a few degrees at low RPM's, but none today. I also had 12# of boost in 90 degree weather, so the IAT seal was leaking badly at the track. AFR was at 12:1, but the timing was only 16 degrees. With the IAT relocated to before the throttle body it might be possible to add more timing based on getting a more accurate reading.
Not touching the car anymore until Friday when I race at the track. Not even going to take my subwoofer out, so there will be an extra 70 lb's in the car. |

You say after the ECM reset you had no knock, so that's great! Maybe IPF should just offer a smaller belt right from the get go...something in between their current setup and yours to provide another 1 or 2 psi of boost. That, and if they do end up re-designing their evap system it would be a killer kit.

Good news is, the engine still has no knock and it looked like my boost gauge touched 13 psi. I need to get a PLX boost gauge that I can log with my torque app also so I can be sure. This is with a 225 cc/min meth nozzle in front of my supercharger, which is will be looked down upon by some. I think IPF can do a 3.60" easily, I would test if the V60C1D tune could handle my 3.48" pulley but I don't want to run without meth again. Arno is going out to Arizona later this month so they might be doing some pulley runs, see if there is an improvement. |

I plan on doing a 3.33" pulley, want to get this 3.48" pulley down first to show the gains.
About to order 2 AFR widebands from PLX with the DM-6 gauges and a Vacuum/Boost sensor so I can log the data with my bluetooth device. Feels like I'm never going to get the money to do 3.91 gears. |

I just don't think 3.91s have proven as a good mod for the 1/4 mile yet, so maybe don't get in a hurry for them.

I mean, no one that I've seen has actually used 3.91s to get themselves any better off compared to stock. 3.45 gears, though, would probably help a little bit.

My wife gained 0.5 seconds with 3.73 gears even with the car shifting 6 times from tire spin. The key is tires and mods that give you top end power. Anything that helps from 4500 RPM's and up is needed. That is why I'm looking at 3.33" pulley, will put a lot of boost in that area.
I'm doing the 3.91's to get the 1LE differential brand new, feels like my axles are going to break because of the awesome power my car has. If 3.91's are too much I will change them to 5.10's and do wheelies everywhere like a boss. |
