Isn't there a similar thread to this in the LFX section already? The one that showed pictures of the non-"ram" air style of the 2012 v8 version intake?

Yeah it was created very recently. This thread has been active since before the LFX section came around.

The new 2012 system is a clean sheet of paper design. We have the performance where we want it and we are currently working on the "LOOK" of the system

We are working to produce a system that is not just innovative but also makes you want to pop your hood.

We have many innovative items incorporated into the design to control heat soak as well as to dress up the engine compartment for a finished show car look.

With our current high heat conditions in Texas we have been running extended heat soak tests to further evaluate how the system controls under hood heat while we put the final touches on the "LOOK" of the system.

You will see spy shots here on the forum first.

It's almost 2014 and I still haven't seen this product online for purchase anywhere, it all says 2010-2011 and NOT 2012. Was this product given up on or something? Ha. Or am I just missing something?

I called them in October and spoke with Steve who said that the part would be available at the end of November. Now whether or not that's true, I have no clue.

Also, keep in mind I spoke to them in December and they told me that the LFX version would be out by the end of January.
And as the above guy said about "bashing" the company,
I just don't think it's very professional for them to tell everyone who calls a different time frame. If they don't have an official time, then tell your potential customers that there isn't a set date!!!! In December I was told January/February. On 2-7 someone was told by March, and on 2-10 someone was told the V8 would come out in march (which in December they said the first of January), and that the LFX model won't be out for months after that.
