So as of August 16th, I'll officially be employed by Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

They didn't exactly give me a lot of time to move down there so I'm kinda rushing to find a place to live. Does anyone have suggestions for apartments in the Kissimmee area? Needs to be somewhat affordable.

Depends on what you mean by affordable. There are cheap apt. that I wouldnt park my Camaro at to visit and rental townhomes with garages.

I would recommend renting a house.. there are so many down in this area and im sure you could find one with a 1 car garage or if you wanted to pay a little more a 2 car garage.

I'm kinda thinking around the $600-900/month area. I really want a house but a lot of the ones I've seen are a little too much for my budget.

I also kinda have a weird problem since I'll technically have two vehicles. I'm getting a state car in addition to my personal vehicle so I might have to pay extra for parking...

Most places allow you to have two vehicles. I had three at one point in my aprt complex plus wifes car

You'll still get it! It kinda sucks being farther from Detroit but I'll still be able to post stuff.

At a decreased rate of course now that I have a full time job.

Welcome to Florida!

There's a ton of open housing in the Orlando area, but im not sure you want to live in a $600 a month area.

The weather starts to cool off by the end of October

I'm looking at a place that's $850/month. Seems pretty nice, but pricey. I can manage though.

Can't really help much with advice on housing I'm afraid as I only know the Seminole/Volusia county area, but just wanted to say Congrats and welcome to Florida, maybe see you at some meets in the area once you arrive!

Seminole's part of my territory so you better make sure your dairy facilities are straightened up.
