Very interested in how this turns out! Looking to go with meth and a smaller pulley in a few months also.

What an adventure, forgot to tighten up the clamp that goes into the intercooler, realized it before I got on it and had to turn back to fix it. Took it out again but never went over 6000 RPM's, at 5000 RPM's my PSI was at 6, AFR was around 12. Before my PSI at that point was 4 so I've gained 2 PSI. I had 0 knock retard, so no detonation was occurring.
I went and got a K061058 belt, going to install it tomorrow and do some more runs. The worse part about this is I'm hearing every little noise, but the computer is saying everything is ok. |

Got bored and installed the new shorter belt. I used K061058 and it has the same tension as the stock belt with the stock pulley. You have to make sure it is in the groves exactly before putting it on the water pump pulley, it is very tight.

Went all out today and the car felt great. Max boost is about 11-12 psi, had to up my meth nozzles though, was running 12.5 after 6000 RPM's, switched to a bigger nozzle and now run 12.
The car moves through 1st and 2nd gear extremely fast now, 3rd gear hauls ass too. I'm getting just 1 degree of knock at 5000 RPM so I may have to meth turn on just a hair earlier. Current setup is: IPF Supercharger with 3.48" pulley Snow Performance Stage 2 Meth controller, 1x 60 cc/min before supercharger (keeps it cool), 1x 225 cc/min 18" before IAT, 1x 175 cc/min 6" before IAT IAT relocated to 4" before throttle body Ported Intake Manifold American Racing Headers 1-7/8" Headers ARK DT-S 2.5" catback Denso ITV24 Spark Plugs (2 steps colder) with a 0.030" gap I will see how the week goes on testing, but seems good so far. |

I took this video on Saturday before I upgraded the meth nozzle, shows my boost going past 10. Right now my car runs 12:1 AFR after that initial rich condition. Today I drove the car with the windows down and right at max boost I can start hearing what sounds like the by-pass valve being forced open. I don't know if I have to upgrade my by-pass valve and if one will fit.
Also, I get 1.5 degrees of knock retard at 5000 RPM's, none after that. I'm running 20 to 18 degrees of timing, which is pretty damn good on 91 octane with 51/49 water/meth injection. Car feels great with this pulley, don't know if I would go any lower though without new internals. |

Looks like 11.5 lbs of boost to me! Nice build- you're really making progress and breaking new ground!
I'm also envious of your amount of free time! |

I upped the 60 nozzle to a 100 and am down to 0.7 knock retard, will see if it stays that way. The next biggest nozzle I have is a 375, up from a 225. I may just swap my 175 and 225 nozzles around if the knock retard stays at 0.7. |

Looks like a great mod. So how much boost did you pick up in the end?

Turned off traction control and put the car in sport mode, from a 20 mph roll the tires started smoking at 5000 RPM's in 1st gear. Left 2 lines of tire marks on the highway for about 15 feet. |

Wow...very cool! Sounds like its working very well so far! Gotta love that extra boost down low as well.
Sounds like maybe IPF should look into offering an 11 - 12 psi pulley in addition to the stock 9.

I've been dialing back my meth at low RPM to get the AFR back to 12, was 10 before. I need a digital meth controller though so I can accurately set the start and end points, the one I have is not accurate. |
