Fuel pump

Do all supercharger kits call for a fuel pump upgrade or can you use the Stock one?

My kit from Kraftwerks said I could use stock pump and different injectors, however the tuner that i used said they get lean on top and recommended the ZL1 fuel pump and a JRE FPCM. I went that way and I am glad I did since I now want to bump the pulley down and add even bigger injectors. I would rather be safe and in the middle of what a pump can do than the pump get a little weak and boom...

I'm getting 6-8# of boost. For me, it's enough for the street. And a hellava lot of fun. One time at the drag strip on street tires and spun tires all the way thru 1st and 2nd.

I'm at 8lbs with a ZL1 pump (1LE), with 80lb injectors. The ZL1 seems to the minimum safe recommended at that boost range by my tuner.

how much are you making and are you running out of fuel when you hit your 8lbs of boost ?

I haven't installed it yet (procharger) but I am going with 100lbs injectors.
I wanted to do that in case I go with E85
