Another Hurst Roll Control (line lock) problem

Finally got all the right parts from Hurst and had a shop tie the solenoid in to the master cylinder. The line lock works as it is supposed to, but the Brake Control Module thinks there is a problem when I engage it and throws a "service stabilitrak" message, and you cannot turn traction control and stabilitrak back on until you clear the BCM with a scanner.

Question? Has anyone else experienced this problem, and/or knows how to keep it from happening?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

Yep, I have the same issue. I drive the car a little, then shut it off and when I start it back up the message is off.

I wondered if it would reset itself after some time, but didn't try it before posting the question. The line lock works as far as locking the front wheels when the button is held down, so I guess I can use it and hope the BCM resets after a while.

However, if you have a solution don't let this stop you from posting it.

Thanks,
Jeff

Yep, message turns on for me so after the pass I turn the car off and next run it's off again. Doesn't seem to effect anything during the run but I don't think I would drive on the streets very far with that lights on.

I actually use the light to tell me the line-lock is working before I get to the line. I hit the linelock button in staging and release to see if the lights come on. This also turns off all the nannies so I don't have to hold the T/C button down.

Turning the nannies off with the same button is pretty cool.
I'm guessing this takes a little programming to make it work?

Went to the strip last night and my car did the same. During the cool down time between runs the computer reset itself and the lights and message were gone when I restarted the car. Guess this is normal

Thanks guys.

I pull out a couple of relays and turn all the nannie's off when I'm at track. Same thing with the TCI line lock. I believe it's fuse #40 and relay #43 and that turns off the ABS, but you will get an audible warning when you start it up, but it goes away. Think about it your front wheels are locked and the rear wheels are spinning, computer does not like that.
