Identifying a v6 or v8
I am speaking in general and unmoded Camaros.
From 2010 to 2013 (2014?) the V8 model as a "mail slot" and the V6 does not. So "normally" I can tell if it's a V8 or V6. There are no mail slots on the new style for 2014 and beyond, how do you tell? The newer Camaros have vents on the hood, are they different for the v6 and v8 Just wondering Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

2014 V8 has the vent, a wider hood dome, and the fog light bezels are square instead of round.

The vents are for V8's and the 6 doesn't have one unless it's aftermarket.

The v6 also comes with a guy that asks you why you didn't get a v8. You throw him away though.

You can also tell by the brake calipers.

In addition to the mail slot, the SS has a more aggressive looking front clip than the 6.

If a '14 Camaro passes you, You'll see the tail lights sooner on the V8

2010-2013 the stock exhaust pipe outlet diameter was a dead giveaway from the rear.
