Good video and was surprised how well the ZL1 did against the 1LE. Of course you have to take into account driver experience but, just the same surprising results.

I saw a video once of a professional driver driving a A10 ZL1 and a 6-MT ZL1 back-to-back on a road course. The 6-MT ZL1 won by a slight margin. However, the A10 ZL1 would win a drag race from a dig.

Great video, thanks for sharing!
Any version of the ZL1 is an incredible car. I would love to see a comparison of an A10 ZL1 v. ZLE with ZLE wheels/tires on the A10 car and a pro driver driving both. I'm guessing on most tracks there wouldn't be much of a difference. I love everything about the ZLE, but for our use the ZL1 A10 just made more sense. Too bad they don't offer the aero as an option! |

I think you are the better driver than your friend. Good video.

Looking at the video you could tell you were averaging higher speeds in all the sectors, and being able to get on the gas earlier coming out of corners. Good video though!

Cars don’t go fast, drivers go fast!
Cool video.

Driver makes a big difference though... I'd love to see someone like Randy Pobst wheeling both, back to back. EDIT: for the OP: were you both on Goodyear 3Rs? or a different tire? |

Both cars were on a new set of Goodyear 3Rs. The plan was to originally have our mutual friend, and pro racing driver Scott Dollahite, drive the cars and set a time in each, but we just couldn't get the timing lined out with all the crappy weather we've been having. Unfortunately, now the 1LE is going under the knife for a 800WHP build for the Global Time Attack event coming up at CotA in February. My ZL1 has a few parts coming soon, so we'll definitely be revisiting this head to head, just won't be with stock cars anymore. |

Great video! What exhaust do the 2 cars have? They sounded quite different during the first part of the video.
