2012 bouncing issues
hellp everyone,
i purchased a 2012 camaro v6 and am having bouncing issue with the car. everytime am driving or taking a curve the car doesnt seem stable and its real bouncy like am driving in a low rider. ive had tires replaced under bfg warranty replaced steel wheels with same 18in size after market wheels. still the car is bouncing like a low rider. dealer tell me there nothing wrong but it doesnt seem stable. is anyone having the same issues as me? thanks for any input. I think it is stiff and I feel more or the road. I dont bounce but bumps are hard. My Lexus feels much smoother but I prefer the camaro 10 fold. It feels great for being half the price. The LS has a slightly different suspension that doesn't support staggered wheels. I also have the 20inch rs tires and all the reviews said they ride rough in comparison to the 18s and 19s,so maybe try less rubber. As far as I know the suspension is the same on all 1lt and 2lt camaros from all three years.

so should i go with aftermarket 20inch wheels and tires to get a better ride or just different tires ? purchased 18inch after market from discount tires and i have 30 days to reurn or exchange. thanks

Maybe try test driving a car with the rs package and see if it feels different. That's one way to check if what your feeling is normal. Tell your dealer you heard it changes the ride and your interested in how.

It's a sports car and not a sedan, the SS is even stiffer.

arod, let me know how things go for you if you decide to compare your vehicle to one off the lot (that would be my suggestion as well). Hopefully if there is an issue your dealer can get you all taken care of.
