HP gains with Diablo Predator?

I just bought the Predator and havent got around to install it yet,but what kind of HP gains have you guys been getting? Also I assume that the car will need to be driven so the ECM can relearn the new tune.

yes... after installing the tune, put on about 150 miles...

these cars (along with vettes, due to the same engine), take a while for the adjusted parameters to get settled in and relearned by the ecm...

it will get better and better as you put on more miles...

and the gain is about 25 hp/tq...

Are your gains based on a L99 or LS3?

So with no mods this gives you about 25hp alone? What about on 91 octane? And how (if at all) does this change if your only mod is muff delete?

tune alone, you're lookin at about an 18-20 gain.... pair it up with a good CAI and exhaust, you'll see some more...

muffler delete won't change anything...

Wide open throttle operation will not "learn" with more miles. This is blatantly false.

I got 12 hp with 93 Octane tune on L99 (Catback and CAI only)

Then installed headers and got an additional 25 hp.
After the Header install I was going to get a dyno tune but did not need it... the Diablo tune was right on the money..

So one person is saying tune alone you get 18-20 and another person is saying WITH 93 octane, a CAI, and catback only 12. So anyone have an "official" answer?

who said anything about WOT learning???

the OP is correct in that it will need to be driven around after the tune install in order for it to "re-learn" items such as the fuel trims, run and complete the emissions readiness tests, etc etc...

This (to me) implies the car is going to pick up power with more miles.

Readiness checks, yes, they will need time to pass (evap test can bite me, FYI), but otherwise the car should run tip-top right off the bat if everything is where it should be.
