I've had mine back for less than a month and I'm already looking for upgrades. I would like to cam it for more low end torque. It needs more down low.

I have noticed that even in the heat, when driving around town the IAT is only a few degrees (2-3F) above ambient.

What rear end gears are you running to achieve that MPH?

Great to see another F1X in Houston! Awesome Build you have. I've dealt with Mike at G-Force on a few occasions and well ..........Ill never go back. Great tuner and knows his stuff but if he didn't build your car ($$$$$$$$), basically told me its not even worth the effort in tuning it ($).

Nice! I only ask because I have 3.91's with eaton true trac and I think I want to switch to a 3.27 gear. I have too much gear for the power I am expecting in the near future.

I went to 3.27 as well but with the agp kit. I dont blow the tires off nearly as much now as I did with the 3.91s.

I am not totally buying that comment, but I do know what you mean about the F-1X. So far I have only really hit it once (during the vid) and I could feel the extra 100 HP. Too bad I have the F-1X hamstrung but on September 26th during the track rental, if I make a couple of good passes and all is holding together good, I may have the limiter pulled for a pass to see what an additional 100+ HP will do to my time.

By the way, on the 8/26 track rental date all visitors enter RPR free. I think it is going to be an evening rental (6pm - 12am) but will make sure and post it up closer to time.

I hear ya.

His shop stays buried in work so even though I have never heard him say he only tunes the stuff he builds, I could see where even though his response may have been blunt, he is probably right about it not being worth getting behind schedule to do an outside tune.

Mike is a great guy but hey, he is human like the rest of us. If you approach him on a bad day (when he has deadlines to meet and customers are breathing down his neck), you are likely to get the "bear" Mike instead of his usual "teddy bear" self.
