Anyone have Black w/CGM stripes & is it too 'subtle'??

I thought I was dead set on getting CGM stripes on my black camaro. However, I must admit after viewing a few of the pix on this site---are the CGM stripes almost too subtle to be seen on black? I originally chose CGM because I liked the metallic look of the silver/gray color---and also because I thought the 'regular' silver looked almost white on top of black (again, based on pix from this site). I'm starting to get confused as to whether the colors in the pix are just distorted, or if they are an accurate representation of what I can expect. Can anyone that has Black/CGM stripes give me feedback on the following:

1. Are you disappointed with your choice at all? (would you pick a different color if you had it to do all over?)
2. Is it really hard to 'see' the CGM stripes except in certain lighting?
3. Do you have ground effects, and if so, does the CGM striping match well? (or do you suggest painting ground effects black?)

Any feedback you can provide would be MUCH appreciated!!

I love the look of the CGM stripes on my Black 2SS. It is definately subtle, but it totally works.

ndnsith, you car looks great.

I will say, I saw one at my dealership that did not have the ground effect or the RS and I felt it did not look just right. I also had a sunroof, which I am not fond of on this car.

Just my $0.02

ndnsith -- i see what you mean about the different lighting. Some pix you can't even see the stripes, but in the sun, they really show nicely. I'm also starting to like the unpainted ground effects with the CGM---would you say it's an exact match in color? Do you think they look 'unfinished' at all or do they look 'painted grey'?

What do you mean that it just 'didn't look right'? You mean that the stripes did not stand out enough?

The ground effects are a finished dark argent metallic colored plastic surface. They don't exactly match CGM, but they are very close in appearance. On the car, unless you look REALLY close, you can hardly tell the difference.

"Subtle" can look really, REALLY good! I've seen a couple black with flat black stripes that look absolutely evil!
