Question MRT V2 exhaust tips.

Is it just me or do the stock tips look better? I love how the exhaust sounds, I'm just not crazy about these tips! They're smaller and stick out slightly less. I haven't seen anyone else complain about this before, I can't be the only one who has noticed this lol. I'm stronly considering having the old tips put back on to the MRT. Which I hope wouldn't change the sound for the worse.

It's not just you.

Those MRT tips are more suited to the 10-13 V6's model years. 2014 & 15 V6 exhaust tips measure 4" across and are flared. Some say they mount a little short also on the refresh models.

That is the only reason i haven't sprung for the MRT-V2. I'm not giving up my tips or going through the hassle finding a welder that may or may not do a good job.

I just wish MRT gave choices on the tips. There are going to be a lot of 14/15's out there looking for exhaust options.

I have the same issue with the Dynomax Ultra Flo axle back I had put on. It sounds great but I don't really like the tips. They're only 1/4" smaller in diameter but don't stick out as far as the stock tips did.

Might have to bite the bullet and have them changed. I need to ask Dynomax if there is an easy solution.
