Best way to cruise is to not involve the cops. If you want to go cruise, just put a couple groups together and go for a cruise. Is there really that much more to it?? NO!!! Now, if you want everyone to do it together and create a huge inconvenience for the local's than involve the cops and make a camaro train 3 miles long.

Yes, there were accidents from others coming TO the hotel from a Virginia group??...I think it was?

Again, none during the cruise.
I was part of the Virginia group and 10 mins from the hotel we had a 4 car hit. We drove all that way with lots of close calls. it is a matter of science. If the first car is doing 55 then all the other cars have to go slower and lets face V8's don't' like to go slow.

If I'm not mistaked that was on the interstate going to the hotel on Thursday,
not during the Indy loop cruise. I was with the mid-atlantic group also.
Great fun but it did get a little out of hand towards the end entering Indiana.

I'd vote for skipping the cruise and going to the brickyard for some parade laps and photo shoots on the track. Cruising that many cars on the highway is a clusterfck.

How about a mid day meet up at the brickyard? If small groups want to Camarovan over, that would be fun. But everybody just take their time and get over to the track leisurely over a few hours one afternoon? Wed, Thurs, or Friday afternoon? Whatever date/time the track has available.

If we are going to Indy again, which I love that plan... I'd hope to do something really different this year, like hitting the brickyard.

I was terribly spoiled by the cruise during CF1 in Valdosta, GA. It was a very nice cruise through smaller back road with police manning intersections for us. The cruise last year on the expressway during rush hour traffic, not so good.

Going to a location like Indy Raceway sounds like a unique idea.

It needs to be organized by bikers... we know how to ride in groups.

Any DBs get out of line make a list and we'll knee cap 'em latter.

I love a good cruise but not around the loop of Indy. Needs to be more open area. Had ALOT of close calls last year.

if no one wants to do a cruise I am sure a handful of us can come up with something. There are plenty of backroads around here

Sounds like a good alternative to a mass cruise.
