If you have done a TVS2300 SLP/Magnuson install step inside...

Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of doing my supercharger install (TVS2300 SLP/Magnuson). I am to step 25 as illustrated below. The instructions are telling me to disconnect the vacuum brake booster from the canister. Are you supposed to pinch the clamps and pull the hose off or does the grey plastic piece that the yellow arrow is pointing to just pull out of the canistere? It seems like it would be a nightmare to pinch the clamp due to its orientation.

Thanks in advance guys. I am doing this install myself and I am trying to do a little bit each night, so there will be more questions like this to come through the install process.

If you have LS3 engine remove the grey plastic with the hose. See the picture at step 30. It is clearly removed with the intake.

If you have L99 engine remove only the hose. You can still remove the grey plastic and reinstall it again after you remove it from the hose

Ill have to look ahead when I'm home. I did not think to check ahead at the other images. So... does it just pull straight out? It felt like i was going to break something so i did not continue.

You have to pull and wiggle it, just don't try to pry it out.

I read the instructions cover to cover 5-6 times before starting my install. I even went out to the car to look at exactly what the instructions were talking about. I suggest you take some time to look ahead and get familiar with the steps, so nothing is a surprise, like this. There are a lot of steps.

Install your hoses on the blower before you place it on the motor, it will save you a few swear words. If you haven't already gotten one, get a 10mm swivel head to allow for easier access to the rear bolts on the SC manifold.

The booster line is hard to pull out because it is holding vacuum. Took me a while too.

Ya... that's why I was hesitant because I felt like I was going to break something. After I got the green light I just grabbed on and pulled hard and it popped out.
