Nice set-up. Wait until you do the exhaust and CAI in 3 years. You'll be smiling all over again.

Tim: did you have to do something on the fuel pump side? I added a MSD booster / regulator as it ran lean on the first run.

TRC , I need to follow your example. Have a SC and still keep my warranty. I can only imagine how much faster your ride will be if you add a cam and headers . Congrats bro! I'm jealous !

Nope! Everything I don't have anything other than the SC and SLP's tune so I'm good, if I had headers, cai and different pulley then I would have to add bigger fuel injectors and a JRE tune. But for now its perfect.

Yea the peace of mind knowing your covered is nice. The power increase from stock is insane!!!. Ted said just adding his tune with a cai and headers I could expect 60ish more rwhp. Add a cam, fuel management and injectors about 150 rwhp. That's going to be nuts!!!

That's my own creation, it's a stock hood that I cut up and put in hex vents and T3 ports! I call it the TRC hood

Is 500 low or is it because it was a conservative tune? Just wondering because I want to get this sc but don't want to pay 10k for 100 hp. I'm just asking, not trying to sound negative.....I think it looks and sounds sexy

For my set up without headers or intake or custom tune, 502rwhp is High. Est motor Hp is about 580ishhp.

It's pushing 6lbs of boost. If you add headers, cai , and tune add about 50hp to those numbers. Even more if you add fuel stuff and smaller pulley .

I ended up gaining 130 hp, which is a BIG difference.

Oh, I didn't see that you didn't have headers either. So much for my reading skills. So I figure I have cams, cai, and long tubes then I should be getting a lot more. Thanks for clarifying that, I'm apparently retarded lol.

Yea, put it this way, my goal after this is JRE ruff idle cam, headers, intake, custom tune smaller pulley and an upgraded fuel management. Ted said to expect somewhere in the area of 650Rwhp. So you'll be doing just fine with those mods!!

I have the Edlebrock supercharger (I imagine Tim can add to this) as you can't compair another 100HP with SC to a NA engine as the air is forced (hence the forced induction) so there is a real "kick" when you stomp on it. I had the Edlebrock box tune, but went with a Ropto-Fab CAI so Ted tuned it - 520HP / 520TQ. Ted indicated the same 650HP'ish with a smaller pully / headers. You need to build a few more things into the engine / rear suspension with that kind of HP - or you'll break something for sure. I'm more than happy with the power and exhaust note without headers as I have a vert.
