Its not any lighter. Thats just press blasphemy. .36 glass is not measurably lighter then .38 glass

For anyone wondering midwest chassis and sho-me-speed stock speedglass for the 5th gen

0.36mm glass is still lighter than 0.38mm glass - even if it is just barely measurable, it's still lighter.

So I wouldn't say it's press blasphemy per-say, because it is technically lighter.

Same reason I bet on the dog that poops before a greyhound race, it just happens to be irrelevant in the realm of changing out glass to a lighter piece.

but i would happily charge anyone who wants to swap out the parts, regardless of how futile it is... they put "thinner" glass to fill up space on the brochure and not for any other reason...

Can you tint the Speed Glass just like the regular windows or does it cause issues later on?

You can tint it. You can order the rears smoked already, the fronts have a tinted surround just like the factory windshield
