Too dark in my opinion, starts to look ghetto like said above. Also in CA you're just asking for it. If you get rear ended, they'll say they couldn't see your brake lights and you're fuked if they lawyer up..

Too shiny... our red needs a more of a smoked black. On my VR car the dark glossy black worked everywhere on the GBE not so much...

i'm not a fan of blacked out lights in general...also, like someone stated earlier, you're giving someone a way out if you get rear-ended, depending on local laws
