Tremec TR6060 Class Action - Any News?

I've poked around and found tons of posts on the grinding/binding issues with the TR6060 transmission. Several threads suggested that a class action suit was forming but after searching further I've found nothing more on the topic.

Is there a class action suit forming against GM on this issue? If so, can someone point me to the sign up site?

Thanks.

How many miles did you have it on when you started having issues?

Yea, I'll pass on the $8.57 they want to reimburse me.

Have you made sure the trans is warmed up before nailing it and shifting fast?

Need to get the trans temp up near 180 to be like butter. Not sure if you have the 4-pack gauges so you can tell.

Drive it for like 20 minutes then try the fast shifting and see how you do.

My 2011 w/factory Hurst is very smooth once fully warmed.

I don't know about that. I've had a transmission replaced for free on an out of warranty Volvo XC90 because I had a letter come to the house about the class action suit for the transmission. I consider that winning.

Ironically, it was a GM transmission used in that car at fault.

Every class action suit that I've been in my reimbursement was nothing over $20. IMO, not worth it if you want to keep your right to have recourse in the future.
