Sub Project - Polyfill Filling

I’m planning for a Sub project in the next several weeks

My question should I fill the box with Polyfill Filling ?
reading over the net it's 50%/50% on Yes and No so any experience feedback is great

I go overkill on my sealed box linings. I use Sonic Barrier foam as a base in multiple layers with overlapping seams: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=260-520

then finish up with Acousta-Stuff: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=260-317

Both my home sub box (15" woofer), and car sub box (12" woofer) have this treatment. I only hear the music - no box vibrations. Each sub gets more than 600 watts RMS.

If your box is low in airspace then yes. If you have sufficient amount of air space then no. Its made to slow down the acoustic wave which can result in deeper tighter bass. Ive lined the inside of boxes with foam and dampener before and saw a db loss and airflow loss on meters. They absorb the waves.
